We are doing something a little different this month at Webster's Pages - the designers are the 'guests' and we are sharing about ourselves and presenting some projects showing our work in progression - or how you can make Webster's work with any style. Now my normal style is more on the complex side, I would say but I really like all of the stages of my layouts. Each one is complete on it's own. Everything here is from the Seaside collection - one of my faves.
Simple: This would be my basic simple design with the matted photo, title and journaling.
Moderate: On the moderate layout you can see how I've trimmed down the background and matted it on white, added in some trim behind the photo, added the compass and some buttons.
Complex: For my final version I have added handcut elements from the Seaside papers and more buttons and another layer of paper in the upper left corner to accent.
And a few detail shots:
I'd love to hear what you think about the different layouts and which one appeals to you more.....I think Webster's will work for any taste and style. And to let you try it, leave me a comment about which is your favorite and I'll do a RAK and share some Webster's Pages from my stash with you. You can also check out the other designer's 3 versions - here at inspireME.
I thought this was such an appropriate photo - as I am heading out the door for the beach!! :) See you soon!
