  4. I have eagerly awaited each installment of these videos!! I have learned so much, there are so many techniques!! I learned about free form sewing and creating depth in your work by layering and building up colour!! I learned several ideas for masking by using recycled material or bits that you just have laying around and also great ways to recycle packaging!! I love the shimmerz bling paints and your finished project is just spectacular with all the glittery shimmery bits!! Definitely a project I am going to try!! Beautiful work Lucy, thank you so much for taking the time to do the tutorial :)

  7. The thing I learned was the fact to use free-form cutting. I've been racking my mind trying to find the right shape in punches or diecuts, and here you just cut the shape on your own! Love that! Your certainly put a lot of work into this project, and it is just gorgeous!

  10. Luce, I enjoyed seeing your thought process; knowing you needed something on the right hand side and choosing a Spring tree, brilliant! I may even face my sewing machine and try free motion stitching! The shimmerz paints, well I really must try them as they madecopubdu your project absolutely shine! Without these products your quilt would not be so gorgeous. thanks for another great tutorial! Donna

  17. I enjoyed the videos a lot Lucy! Like I said before, for me, the best part of seeing this is not one thing in specific, but just seeing one of your works being created from scratch. I love learning things visually, and your tutorial videos are a great help in knowing how to start on a project like this. I hope we'll see a lot more of your video's in the future, thank you so much!
