Mixed Media Monday - Let's Have Tea

I played along with MMM this week and the theme is 'Let's Have Tea'.

My piece is 5x8 and I started by painting a piece of chipboard and layering Golden fluid acrylics. Using punchinella I pushed texture paste through for some background texture. Added a Cosmo Cricket rub on, then collaged sheet music and a party list, cut the tea cup from some Asian fabric I had and stitched it down. I put a tea bag under the cup with the tag hanging out for dimension and smell. Then stamped some words and added the title - felt by Making Memories.

I have been enjoying playing with some mixed-media projects!!

  11. Oh, the stiches add so much fun to this, I keep forgetting to sew paper. I used to do it all the time with my neglected scrapbooking.

Your family is bee-utiful and love your "Dance" entry for MMM as well.

Thanks fo stopping by, always a pleasure to find new artists.
